The hotel is ideally located only few minutes walk from the historic bar walls and York Minster, restaurants, bars & shopping. The closest airport is Leeds Bradford, which is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Manchester & Birmingham airports both have excellent train links to York, taking 2-3 hours. The rail station is about 15 minutes away.
All rooms vary in size and layout. They are well kept and have en-suite bathrooms with showers. There is a TV and a telephone along with tea & coffee making facilities in each room. Towels and complimentary toiletries provided.
Full English breakfast is served in a nice bar & lounge, which also serves a range of drinks and light snacks in the evening.
The hotel is a brick traditional building. The lobby is very simple and small. This guest house is a ideal base for visiting York and the surrounding area. |
