| 2 Star, Tourist Class Modern Hotel
The hotel is located in Kensington near Hyde Park and Knightsbridge. It is a very short walk from the hotel to Gloucester Road underground station and the Natural History Museum. The front of the hotel faces along the road. The rooms are small on average and furnished to a basic standard, they are in fair condition as are the bathrooms, except for eight rooms which are in very good condition. The restaurant is located on the lower ground floor and serves breakfast only. Decorated in pale blues, it is simple but perfectly adequate for this class of hotel. The building is a typical London Edwardian town house which has been converted for use as a hotel. The lobby is small and furnished in warm colours with a small seating area around a bay window. Overall this hotel is a good choice for the traveller on a budget as it is clean and well maintained with friendly staff. |
