| 2 Star, Superior Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
This hotel is located on the Hagley road, just 1 mile from the city centre and Broad Street with its array of restaurants and bars. New Street station can also be reached by taxi in approximately 5 minutes, with excellent 15 minute connections to the NEC and the airport.
Rooms are medium in size and are in good condition. Decorated in soft colours, rooms are fully equipped and on the first and second floor of the hotel.
There is no restaurant, but the hotel does serve a full breakfast. There is a bar area which is open in the evenings. This is a traditional building, similar to many on the Hagley Road. The lobby is small in size, the entrance leads to a small reception area.
This is a pleasant hotel in a fair condition with a great location. Hotel is currently undergoing renovation but still provides good value accommodation in Birmingham. |
